As most of you know, our esteemed Guildleader Mo set out on a mission to find the legendary warrior Telfogli, the powerful retired guild leader of Steel Claw Clan. Well, Mo found him. Or rather Telfogli got so irritated at being stalked down that his arrows found Mo\'s back. The Guildleaders had been at a deadlock over whether they should lead the front lines of their guild in the attack against Lyras. It was felt that a vote from Telfogli was the only way to settle the matter in a way that all of the leaders could accept. When Telfogli heard of this his anger was appeased, and he commended Agonar and Mo for seeking his guidance. It was decided that inded the the leaders could not lead the attack. Having accepted their responsibliites as guildleaders, their role in training new recruits bound them to their halls and like it or not, it was where they must remain. It is the duty of each individual Barbarian to decide his or her role in the battle, and it is something they must do on their own.

To the great pleasure of all present, Telfogli then recalled a bit of our guild history. Mainly, how the Barbarian\'s guild first came to be. It was a rare treat since the vast majority of Barbarian history is passed down orally. If there was no one with memory that goes back that far, or worse, no one to hear it, our past might have been lost forever. Just how old Telfogli is remains a mystery, but as an Elf and the second leader of Steel Claw Clan it is certain that he saw much of our history unfold firsthand. You can read more about this in the new Barbarian History and Lore page. After a good night of drinking and storytelling, Telfogli returned to his secluded life in the wilderness, but promised the Guildleaders they would be able to find him should his advice ever be needed again.

Having succeeded in his mission to find Telfogli, Guild Leader Mo returned to his Riverhaven guildhall. His brother Les, who had been standing in for him as leader felt quite ready to return to his normal life. Where Les went he would not specify, other than to say a fishing hole down south. We will miss you Les, and hope to see you again.

-Phii

'; output += ''; output += '
August 19th, 2009
'; output += ''; output += '
HI. Okay few things. There are two new pages in the Barbarian sections:
Barbarian Guildhalls - Maps of the Guildhalls and some info about them
Famous and Historical Barbarians - Some of the current and former figures important to the Barbarian guild

Both sections are still being polished (a lot) but I was getting too impatient not to just upload them already. If you feel you have something to add please email me. Most of this stuff either came from other players\' memories or my own crappy notes that are up to five years old.
-Phii Phy Pho PHUMPHUMPHUM

'; output += ''; output += '
July 30th, 2009
'; output += ''; output += '
Hello thar! As you\'ve probably noticed the layout has changed yet again! Got bored with the old one already and figured I\'d do some of the graphics myself for a change. But on to more important stuff!

If you\'ve been around the Riverhaven guildhall lately you\'ll have noticed Mo seems to be missing! And that\'s because he is. Mo has taken a sabbatical to go searching for the legendary warrior Telfogli. Telfogli is a very old Elf who was the guild leader of the Steel Claw Clan guildhall before T\'Kiel. He stepped down from leadership saying it was time to pass on the torch to a new leader, thus the reign of T\'Kiel began. Telfogli then seemed to disappear completely, and Mo has gone looking for him after all these years. But do not be alarmed! Mo\'s brother, Les, has agreed to watch over the guild in his absence. If you have not had a chance, head over to Riverhaven and meet him. Though Les and Mo seem to be alike in temperament they could not appear more differently.

On a final note, I\'ve added a link to my Etsy shop in the side panel. Etsy features handcrafted items (in this instance, stuff handcrafted by yours truly) and if that\'s you\'re kinda thing head on over and have a look at my wares. I\'ve never accept donations for the upkeep of Phii\'s Keep or Text Based Shame, but I figured this would be a nice way to at least give people the option to show they care in exchange for something more tangible than a thankyou email. Not trying to be a sell out or anything. I don\'t expect to be making a living off this sorta thing (or off you) but it would be a decent way to suppliment my budget for more creative projects such as costuming and whatnot. Anyway, thanks!

-Phii Phy Pho Phum

'; output += ''; output += '
Rarrrs
'; output += ''; output += '
July 12th, 2009

New update for Barbarians! When you succeed in the use any of the following roars, you will now actually see when the effects of your roar wear off. The roars that have this are: Kuniyo\'s Spirit, Everild\'s Rage, Trothfang\'s Butchery, Tempestous Fury, Death\'s Embrace, Death\'s Lullaby, Magic\'s Bane, Mage\'s Lament, Screech of Madness, Slash the Shadows.

I also expanded on the definition of each roar on roar section to include a note about whether it is an instant effect roar or a roar that imposes a timed penalty on the roar-ee.

Also, roar.

-Phii Phy Pho Phum

';
